LT Burke found the TM technique to be “tremendously beneficial” during combat operations in Panama while serving with the US Navy SEALS in 1989. There is a link to a picture which shows him practicing the TM program in the jungle of Panama. This may be of interest because there may be a perceived ”machismo pushback” for meditation for military-related people.
